2010 stadium creates thousands of jobs
FIFA.com-2010 World Cup
Wednesday 7 January 2009

The FIFA Corp. has been building soccer stadiums in South America because the World Cup is beening held in South America. The stadiums that are being built are creating jobs for constructions workers and contractors. Also the FIFA Corp. is giving tickets to people who are working constructing the stadiums tickets to see one game during the WQorld Cup Finals.

I think that this is a good plan to take the world to South America because it is creating new jobs to people who need them down there.

Colorado Housing: A Topsy-Turvy Market 5280 Magazine Friday, January 16, 2009

According to many different sources, the Colorado housing market is going to see a better increase in the next year. The last two years saw a dramatic decrease in housing sales and it is expected that apartment leasing will increase and housing sales will level off.

I sure hope that housing sales come back to the levels that we saw a few years ago. I don't ever want to sell my house for less than I bought it for. Hopefully, the market will increase and that will effect the overall economy in Colorado.

Governor Bill Ritter recommended today that lawmakers cut $632 million from the current state budget, with major reductions for higher education, public education and health care. I think this is a good idea because obviously there are people who care for children’s education. He also warned that more cuts are coming. His top priorities are public safety and public health, and despite his proposed cuts, he said he wants to protect higher education as much as he can. The state faces a $632 million shortfall in this year's $18.6 billion operating budget—and that that figure could soar to more than $1 billion over the next two years. Ritter recommended eliminating $20 million from state contributions to public schools, $5 million for charter school construction and $1.2 million set aside for teacher recruiting. He also called for cutting $30 million from higher education and $3.1 million from the children's basic health plan. This is going to help schools out there that are falling apart. It’s a good thing that the he is helping instead of leaving us with problems.

Gas Prices on the Rise, CNNMoney.com,Friday,January 2,2009

Gas prices have increased recently although they are down 49% from last year at this time. Crude oil has gone way down since July. People are buying less gas and driving fewer miles because of the weakening economy. Even SUV sales are down because people believe the gas prices will rise again.

I think the gas prices will remain low. People need to drive to and from work and cannot afford $3.00 a gallon for gas. I also think it is going to be a long time before the economy in America gets better.

The Danger of Skin Bleaching
Fri. Jan 16, 2009 | 1:12 PM
the trya banks show

I read this article, The Danger of Skin Bleaching. Well the danger of it is all kinds of risk, meanly skin cancer. Trya talks about her meeting women who would do almost anything to lighten the color of their skin...including the use of bleach. Also that you can buy bleaching cream across the country. But the thing is the use was to be a small amount. these women don't fellow these rules and put it all over thier body. Having the risk of getting skin cancer. Also the scary facts of controverial creams.

I think that women who put these bleaching cream and using bleach, to lighten thier skin is ridiculious because the color of their skin is beautiful just the way it looks and they shouldn't change it. Why go through not having a change in your skin and just get skin cancer? The womens shouldn't have to go through this. I think its sad!!
