Zidane: Gerrard Is The World's Best. March 13,2009. Sports Pundit.http://www.sportspundit.com/article/2316/

Zinedine Zidane a retired soccer player who played for France in the 2006 World Cup and headbutted an Italian has said that Steven Gerrard who playes for the English Primier league team Liverpool is the best soccer player. He is better than Christian Ronaldo and Lionel Messi who are both very talented soccer players. "He has great passing ability, can tackle and scores goals, but most importantly he gives the players around him confidence and belief."You can't learn that, players like him are just born with that presence."
Says Zidane.

That is a pretty big statement coming from Zidane, he was an amazing soccer player back then. I would have to agree with him though because Gerrard is a team player and he is really good.

Iraqi fan kills soccer player in close game
feb. 16, 2009

in the article i read was about how an iraq man kiiled a soccer player when he was about to score a goal for a tying game. the iraqi man was arresed for killing him since he was inoccent it got arresed and was pressed charges because of what he did to a soccer playin for almost shooting the tying goal.

i do agree with this article because no one should shoot a player for trying to score the tying goal i think the other team just has to deal with tying the game because tying a game isnt worth shooting and innicent player for. why would anyone kill a soccer player for shooting a tying goal? i dont think thats right.

Updated: 03/11/2009 01:49:33 PM MDT
The Colorado Foreclosure Hot Line says it had a record month for calls in February.
The Colorado Division of Housing says the hot line received nearly 4,600 calls last month, about 600 more than in the previous record month, of April 2008.Officials say the increase may be due to more awareness of the hot line and programs or legislation related to foreclosures. The government needs to do somthing about these foreclosure becasuse people and families are losing their homes. If they dont do anything then Coloradon will end up in flames!

Government Combs Through G.M.’s Survival Plan
March 15, 2009
New York Times
President has to face a very tough decision to make because he has to decide the fate of General Motor. The reason why they might be doing so badly is because they make more than 15 million cars, which is more than Chrysler. They might have to file for bankruptcy eventually.
I hope they do not have to file for bankruptcy because they are one of the first automakers and there are several workers and if they go the unemployment will increase. I hope president will help there for a little longer so they can just survive this year.

In the article “Greeley teen dies in weld county crash” by the Denver post. A teenager died Sunday in a roll over car crash in Weld County that is being investigated as an alcohol related vehicular homicide. Abdiel Morales was thrown from a 2001 Volkswagen after the car rolled. The Volkswagen rolled one time and hit a utility pole on the passenger side. Medrano Bustamante suffered injuries and was taken to the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He faces multiple charges including vehicular homicide, child abuse resulting in death, and DUI. A second passenger in the car Jose suffered serious injuries and was taken to North Colorado Medical Center. Morales Sanchez was pronounced dead at Children's Hospital in Aurora.
There most of been alcohol involved in the crash because it couldn’t be any other way unless they were being stupid in the car. Or they were racing and turned to fast and rolled the car but who knows.

Chris Brown-Rihanna Duet a Prearrest Project
Sat., Mar. 14, 2009 7:20 AM PDT by Natalie Finn

recent reports that chris brown and rihanna were laying down a new track that they decided to do after Brown's arrest are inaccurate. The clarification comes two days after the Los Angeles Times reported that the song, written by Da Don as a single for Rihanna, was reconceived as a duet for the two after Brown's Feb. 8 arrest. The lyrics dealt with love's "trials and tribulations, the way love is complicated and blind," a source told the paper.Brown is moving forward, for now, without the help of Polow. Aside from the Record Plant and the Santa Monica sessions with Polow, Brown has also logged time in a Burbank studio. Before that, he was recording in Florida ahead of his reconciliation weekend with Rihanna.

Shooting coyotes,February 25, 2009

This article was a person writting about how she had let her two cats out to roam. It was a nice day for them an thought it was no harm. But harm did come its way when a coyate snached one of the cats. She was upset but at the same time liked the cayote because she likes the wild animals too. But they are harmful and try not let them around her place as often.

I think that is sad for the cat. But the cayote thosent know better because its hungry and wants food to satisfy its day.

Family Finance: Grocery spending a moving target
Denverpost.com
March 12, 2009

It is difficult to put a dollar amount on how much money the average family spends on groceries. Prices have gone way up over the past two years and with people losing their jobs they have to cut back, use coupons, and not go out to dinner.

Prices have really gone up on groceries and I know it costs more money everytime my family goes food shopping. I hope the people who have lost their jobs can find work so they can buy food. Hopefully with the price of a barrel of oil rising, the food prices will not go up even more.
